The Chiefs are 8-0, and life in Chiefs Kingdom has never looked better. So, let’s have a little fun this midweek and celebrate the best of Patrick Mahomes from each game so far. The guy makes magic every week, so let’s dive back into all eight games and relive his most jaw-dropping, impossible throws of the season.

Week 1 vs. Ravens

Best Throw: Mahomes magic to Kelce on third-and-twelve.

If there was ever a "Mahomesian" way to set a new Chiefs franchise passing yards record, it would be this. Third-and-12, pressure screaming off the right edge—Mahomes skips past it, rolling out right, then fires a perfect dart to Travis Kelce for the first down. Pure Mahomes magic, capturing every bit of what makes him a legend.

Here it is, enjoy.

Week 2 vs. Bengals

Best Throw: Mahomes 44-yard-touchdown pass to Rashee Rice.

After Cam Taylor-Britt’s harsh words for Xavier Worthy leading up to this game, it’s only fitting that Mahomes’ best throw of the day was a 44-yard touchdown right over Taylor-Britt’s head. Mahomes delivered a perfect strike to Rashee Rice, bringing the Chiefs back from a seven-point deficit against a tough AFC contender. A true Mahomes moment, silencing the talk with one throw.

Here it is, enjoy.

Week 3 vs. Falcons

Best Throw: Mahomes 20-yard dot to Rashee Rice.

Not quite as flashy as the first two weeks, but still a beauty. Mahomes found Rashee Rice, dropping it perfectly into the bucket despite tight coverage, moving Kansas City down the field with precision. A reminder of how Mahomes makes even the tough throws look easy.

Here it is, enjoy.

Week 4 vs. Chargers

Best Throw: Mahomes to Worthy 54-yard touchdown catch.

Possibly the easiest choice on this list—not only the best throw of the game, but one of the best of the entire year. Mahomes unleashed a 54-yard bomb, perfectly timed and placed, to the speedy Xavier Worthy. This throw couldn’t have come at a more crucial moment, with the game’s mood tense after Rashee Rice suffered a serious knee injury while trying to defend a Mahomes interception. The Chiefs were being shut out with just four minutes left in the first half, and this play shifted momentum in an instant.

Here it is, enjoy.

Week 5 vs. Saints

Best Throw: Mahomes 9-yarder to Kelce while falling down.

In stark contrast to his deep strikes, this one was a modest 9-yard completion, but in a tight spot on second-and-15, it was crucial. Mahomes sensed pressure, bailed from the pocket, and—while falling forward—completed a throw to Travis Kelce. A perfect reminder of Mahomes' ability to deliver from any platform, balanced or not.

Here it is, enjoy.

Week 7 vs. 49ers

Best Throw: Mahomes shovel pass to Worthy for 9-yard gain on thrid-down.

Classic Mahomes. With the pocket collapsing on third down, he steps up and, in true Mahomes fashion, delivers a 9-yard shovel pass to Xavier Worthy across the middle—right when the Chiefs needed a play. Yet another example of why No. 15 is nearly impossible to defend.

Here it is, enjoy.

Week 8 vs. Raiders

Best Throw: Mahomes 9-yard touchdown to Xavier worthy to ice the game.

On second-and-goal, with the Chiefs needing a touchdown to ice the game, Mahomes took the snap in shotgun, rolled left, and delivered a quick, sidearm “shortstop” throw to Xavier Worthy for the 9-yard score. A perfectly timed play, sealing the win in classic Mahomes fashion. Bobby Witt Jr probably enjoyed that one.

Here it is, enjoy.

Week 9 vs. Buccaneers

Best Throw: Mahomes miraculous 35-yard throw to Deandre Hopkins on third and eight.

Arguably the best—or maybe the riskiest—throw on this list. Mahomes stepped up into a collapsing, crowded pocket and, in perfect sync with DeAndre Hopkins in just his second Chiefs start, launched a 35-yard pass between three Bucs defenders, placing it exactly where only Hopkins could make the grab. Absolutely incredible.

Here it is, enjoy.

Xavier Worthy - 3

Travis Kelce - 2

Rashee Rice - 2

Deandre Hopkins - 1
